Ljuba de Angelis, born in San Benedetto del Tronto (Italy) and lives in Paris.
Education and training
  • September 2014 – September 2016. MASTER 1&2   – CREATION MUSICALE ET SONORE (composition and sound design), Paris8, Saint-Denis University, France. Music composition and sound creation for video, cinema, live shows, performance and any other form of art, including installations, multimedia and Internet creation.
  • September 2011 – February 2013.  Bachelor – Jazz and improvised music (110/110)- Frescobaldi Conservatory, Ferrara, (FE), Italy. Bachelor’s degree (3 years), Jazz Singing. Thesis:  Jazz composition and arrangement for Jazz Combo about Horace Silver, hard bop pianist and composer.
  •  September 2003 – February 2007. DIPLOMA – SINGING PROFESSIONAL. Music Academy 2000, Bologna, Italy. Professional singer certification (Pop, blues, rock, jazz).
Artistic activity
  • 2016 -Collaboration with Matrupix for sound installation “Dalla culla alla vasca” (Crudle to bathtub) – IVAM (The Institut Valencià d’Art Modern), 13th-21th October 2016 (Cicle Somelgrup).
  • 2016 – Piece of Contemporary classical music “Il pendolo di Foucault”, for cello, bass clarinet and percussions; composed for “Ensemble Aleph”, played in The Cervantes Institute of Paris (25th June 2016).
  • 2015 -Collaboration with Matrupix for video art “I soliti errori” (Same mistakes). Video projections: la Semaine des Arts, Paris 8 Saint Denis Université (2016); Expo de l’art à la Ferme II, Cité Industrielle de Vincennes – La Jarry  (2016).
  • 2015- today.  Composition and sound design for short films and performances.
2014- today: music teacher for ICM- Institute de Culture Musicale, Paris.
Live concerts in France and Italy. Bands, duo, trio, ensemble (jazz, blues, bossa nova, tango, world music, pop).
